Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN)

The Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN) works hard to improve management and conservation of coral reefs by providing manuals, equipment, databases, training, problem solving, and helps with finding funds for reef monitoring – all coordinated in a global network.

GCRMNThe GCRMN operates through 17 regional networks of countries and states, called nodes.

Each of the 17 regional node has a regional coordinator, and countries within a node all have a national coordinator.

Dr. Kenneth T MacKay Director of Institute of Marine Resources, The University of the South Pacific works closely with Marine Ecology Consulting in coordinating the Fiji National Node.
